MIDItoAppleScript runs your AppleScript or keystroke using your account's permissions. You are responsible for what your scripts do, as the terms set out.

Try firstThe trial is the full app for 20 days from first launch. Scripts stop when the trial ends unless you enter a licence key. Your profiles, mappings and scripts stay saved.
Your MacsThe licence is for the Macs you personally use. The price is one-off and covers version 2 and its updates.

Runs onmacOS 13 or later. Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel. Signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarised by Apple. On first use, MIDItoAppleScript asks for Accessibility permission and Automation permission for each app it controls. Licensed use needs a successful online licence check at least once every 90 days.

Before you buy

MIDItoAppleScript turns MIDI messages into keystrokes and AppleScript on your Mac. Version 2 requires macOS 13 or later and a MIDI controller that macOS recognises. Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel. Once a licence key is entered, running scripts needs an internet connection at least once every 90 days for the licence check.

Gumroad, Inc. sells MIDItoAppleScript as merchant of record, taking payment and handling tax, receipts and refund transactions. The developer grants the licence through Gumroad.

After you buy

Your Gumroad receipt email contains your licence key. Enter the key in the Settings window, Licence tab, under 'Already bought it'. Trial and paid use share one download. Entering a valid key restores script running without a restart.

Refunds

Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Use the contact form or email the developer, using your checkout email address. Gumroad returns payment to the original payment method.

Gumroad disables the licence key after a full refund or partial refunds that total the full purchase price. The next successful licence check stops scripts running once the 20-day trial has ended. If your 20-day trial has not yet ended, scripts keep running until it does. If the Mac stays offline, scripts can keep running for up to 90 days from the last successful check. Your profiles, mappings and scripts remain saved. Only script running stops. If the developer re-enables the key, the next successful check restores script running.
